Villarreal complete signing of goalkeeper Péter Gulácsi from RB Leipzig
Villarreal have announced the signing of goalkeeper Péter Gulácsi from RB Leipzig, with the transfer completed on 1 August 2026.
The move gives the La Liga side a new addition to their goalkeeping options as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.
A busy season at Leipzig
Gulácsi made 23 appearances for RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga in 2025, playing 2009 minutes across the competitive campaign.
He arrives at Villarreal with that recent run of regular football behind him, having been a consistent presence for his former club last season.
The signing comes shortly after Villarreal's La Liga fixture at Racing Santander was previewed, with the club continuing to shape their squad ahead of the new campaign.
