Viking face selection headache with five players out for Champions League clash
Viking head into their UEFA Champions League fixture on 13 October without five players, as a run of absences leaves selection options reduced ahead of the match.
Who is missing
Anders Baertelsen is sidelined with a foot injury, while Veton Berisha is unavailable due to a thigh injury. Sondre Bjorshol and Martin Roseth are both listed as absent with knee injuries.
K. Frimpong, meanwhile, is off the roster and therefore not in contention for selection.
Looking ahead
With kick-off set for 19:00 UTC on 13 October, the absences span defence and attack alike, leaving a reshaped group to take on the challenge in European competition.
