Guglielmo Vicario has left Tottenham to join Juventus on a loan move confirmed on 17 August 2026. The goalkeeper switches Premier League football for Serie A as the new season gets under way.

The move arrives just two matchdays into the campaign, giving Vicario an early opportunity to settle into life at his new club.

A busy season for Vicario

Vicario was a near-ever-present for Tottenham throughout 2025, making 43 competitive appearances and playing 3,853 minutes without registering a goal. The bulk of that workload came in the Premier League, where he featured 31 times for 2,790 minutes.

He also gained regular European experience, appearing in 10 UEFA Champions League matches for 883 minutes, and turned out once each in the UEFA Super Cup and the FA Cup, adding 90 minutes in each competition.

What it means for Juventus

Juventus now add a goalkeeper with substantial recent minutes across domestic and European football to their squad on loan. His volume of appearances last year suggests a player accustomed to being first choice, and Juventus will hope that consistency continues in Serie A.
