Union Berlin host Elversberg looking to arrest slide
Union Berlin welcome SV Elversberg to Berlin for a Bundesliga fixture on 10 October, with both sides looking to build momentum as the season approaches its fifth round of matches.
Contrasting recent form
Union Berlin arrive on the back of a difficult run, having won just once in their last five league outings, a sequence that includes three defeats and a draw alongside that single victory.
Elversberg, by contrast, have shown slightly better consistency over the same stretch, picking up two wins compared to Union's one, though they too have suffered defeats along the way and drawn once.
What is at stake
With Union Berlin needing to stem their recent slide and Elversberg keen to carry their better form into the away fixture, the match offers both sides a chance to shift the early-season narrative in their favour.
