Trossard leaves Arsenal for Beşiktaş
Leandro Trossard has left Arsenal to join Beşiktaş, with the transfer confirmed on 12 July 2026. The attacker departs north London for a new challenge in Turkey as clubs across Europe continue to reshape their squads during the summer window.
A busy campaign in north London
Trossard was a regular part of Arsenal's plans throughout 2025, featuring in 50 competitive appearances and totalling 2,951 minutes across all competitions. The bulk of his football came in the Premier League, where he made 31 appearances and played 2,006 minutes.
He was also a fixture in Arsenal's European campaign, appearing 11 times in the UEFA Champions League for 631 minutes, in addition to outings in the League Cup, FA Cup and Emirates Cup. Across the season he scored nine goals, underlining his role as a versatile attacking option for the club.
A new chapter at Beşiktaş
The move to Beşiktaş gives Trossard a fresh environment as he prepares for the upcoming season. Having shown himself capable of contributing across multiple competitions at Arsenal, he arrives in Turkey with experience of sustained involvement at a high level, and Beşiktaş will hope that translates into an immediate attacking boost as pre-season preparations continue.
