Sávio completes move from Manchester City to Tottenham
Tottenham have completed the signing of Sávio from Manchester City, the club confirmed on 23 August 2026. The attacker arrives after a busy spell at City, where he featured across multiple competitions last season.
The move gives Tottenham another attacking option as the new campaign gets under way, with the club having already strengthened elsewhere in recent weeks including a loan arrangement involving goalkeeper Vicario.
A season shared across competitions
Sávio made 39 competitive appearances in 2025, totalling 1,838 minutes and five goals. The bulk of that involvement came in the Premier League, where he played 24 times for 858 minutes, but he also featured regularly in the UEFA Champions League, appearing seven times for 369 minutes.
He added further minutes in the FIFA Club World Cup, the League Cup and the FA Cup, giving him experience across a wide spread of fixtures heading into his switch to Tottenham.
What comes next
With the Premier League season only a few matchdays old, Sávio will be expected to settle in quickly as Tottenham look to build early momentum. His versatility across competitions last term suggests he could be used in a variety of roles as the campaign develops.
