Real Madrid head into their UEFA Champions League fixture with eight players unavailable, a list that spans injuries, illness and suspension.

The absentees include Raúl Asencio (muscle injury), Eder Militao (hamstring injury), Ferland Mendy (hip injury) and Rodrygo (knee injury), alongside Andriy Lunin, who is out with illness.

Three further players are missing through suspension after red cards: Eduardo Camavinga, Arda Guler and Bernardo Silva.

The scale of the list, coming so soon after Real Madrid's La Liga fixture was also affected by a string of unavailable players, leaves the squad stretched across multiple positions for the European assignment.

With four matchdays played domestically this season, the depth of the group will be tested as the club begins to navigate a congested early schedule alongside its continental commitments.
