Real Betis host Porto in Champions League league-stage clash
Real Betis return to continental action on 14 October when they host FC Porto at the Estadio de la Cartuja in Seville, in the second round of fixtures in the Champions League league stage.
Form guide
Both sides arrive in good shape. Betis have won three of their last four matches, with a solitary draw the only blemish in that run, while Porto have been even more productive in front of results, winning four of their last five outings and suffering just one defeat in that spell.
That slightly edges the recent wins tally in Porto's favour, though Betis will take confidence from their own recent record on home soil as they look to make it count against a side that has shown consistency in picking up points.
What's at stake
With the league-stage format meaning every fixture carries weight towards the overall standings, both clubs will see this as an opportunity to build early momentum. A positive result for either side would represent a strong start to their continental campaign heading into the following rounds.
