Paris FC secured a comfortable 3-0 win over Nice at Stade Jean Bouin on matchday two of the Ligue 1 season, with Lassine Sinayoko's 21st-minute penalty proving the decisive moment of the contest.

Sinayoko strikes from the spot

Sinayoko converted from the spot in the 21st minute to give Paris FC the lead they would not relinquish, sending them in 1-0 ahead at half-time.

The home side's dominance was underlined by their expected goals tally of 2.74 against Nice's 0.57, a gulf that reflected their control of the game's chances throughout.

Second-half goals seal the points

With the result already put beyond doubt, Paris FC added further goals through Samir Chergui just after the break in the 51st minute and substitute Vincent Marchetti in the 89th minute.

Marchetti had only just entered the pitch, replacing Otávio in the 83rd minute, before marking his introduction with a goal to complete the scoring.

Paris FC's goalkeeper was required to make four saves compared to just one for his Nice counterpart, though Nice did edge the corner count four to two on the day.
