Newcastle facing five absentees for Premier League trip
Newcastle go into their Premier League match on 17 October with a shortened list of options after five players were ruled out of contention.
The fixture, which kicks off at 16:30 UTC, finds the club without Anthony Elanga, who is dealing with a knee injury, and Ewen Jaouen, sidelined by a muscle issue.
The absentees
Valentino Livramento and Jacob Ramsey are also unavailable, both listed simply as carrying an injury, while Bazoumana Toure completes the list of those missing for the trip.
With five names absent across different areas of the squad, Newcastle will need to manage the selection carefully as they look to collect points this matchday.
