Newcastle travel to face Leeds in the Premier League with a lengthy list of absentees to contend with. The match, one of this week's fixtures, kicks off on 19 September.

Seven players are listed as unavailable for the visitors. Daniel Burn is sidelined with an ankle injury, while Anthony Elanga is out with a knee problem. Joelinton is missing through a thigh injury, and William Osula, Ewen Jaouen, Nico and Jacob Ramsey are also unavailable, with Jaouen's issue specifically listed as an ankle injury.

A depleted squad on the road

With four of the club's forward and midfield options among those missing, Newcastle will have to draw on the depth of their squad to fill the gaps left across the pitch.

The scale of the absentee list means selection at Elland Road will look markedly different from a fully fit Newcastle side, with decisions to be made in more than one area of the team.
