Manchester City sign Palmeiras attacker Allan
Manchester City have completed the transfer of Allan from Palmeiras, with the move confirmed on 30 August 2026. The Brazilian attacker arrives as one of the club's fresh additions during the opening weeks of the new season.
A busy 2025 across competitions
Allan featured extensively for Palmeiras last year, making 55 competitive appearances in total across 1,730 minutes, scoring twice along the way. The bulk of his football came in Serie A, where he made 28 appearances totalling 943 minutes.
He also gained continental experience with eight outings in the CONMEBOL Libertadores and four appearances at the FIFA Club World Cup. Further minutes came in the Paulista - A1, the Copa Do Brasil, and a single appearance for Palmeiras' under-20 side in the São Paulo Youth Cup.
What it means for City
The volume of appearances across so many competitions in 2025 points to a player who has already been trusted with regular football at a young age, even if his minutes have often come in shorter spells. For Manchester City, the signing adds another attacking option to the squad as the club continues to shape its options early in the campaign.
