Feyenoord host Como in Champions League league-stage clash
Feyenoord face Como at Stadion Feijenoord on 14 October in matchday two of the UEFA Champions League league stage, as both clubs look to build on encouraging starts to their European campaigns.
Form guide
Feyenoord arrive on the back of four wins from their last five matches, with their only blemish a defeat sandwiched between a run of victories. Como have also shown consistency, taking three wins from their last five outings alongside a draw and a single loss.
The head-to-head picture over those recent matches gives Feyenoord a slight edge, with four wins to Como's three, though the gap is narrow enough that neither side can be considered a clear favourite on form alone.
What's at stake
With the league-stage format rewarding cumulative results across the competition, matchday two offers both sides an early opportunity to build momentum. A positive result at Stadion Feijenoord would strengthen either club's position as they look ahead to the remaining fixtures in the league phase.
