Como face six absences ahead of Champions League opener
Como will be without six players for their UEFA Champions League match on 10 September, a significant list of absentees as the club prepares for its continental fixture.
Jayden Addai is sidelined with an Achilles tendon injury, while Maxence Caqueret, Edoardo Goldaniga, Willy Kambwala, Adrian Lahdo and Mauro Vigorito are all listed as off the roster for the game.
The scale of the unavailable list means Como will need to manage their squad carefully for the Champions League assignment, with five of the six absences coming from outside the roster entirely rather than through injury.
How the club addresses these gaps will become clearer once the match itself gets under way, but the depth of the squad will be tested from the outset of this European campaign.
