Liverpool have completed the signing of Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain, with the transfer confirmed on 30 August 2026. The France forward switches leagues after several seasons on the books at the Parc des Princes, bringing a fresh attacking option to Anfield as the Premier League season enters its opening weeks.

A busy year in Paris

Barcola's 2025 in competitive football was a heavy workload. Across all competitions he made 58 appearances and played 3,446 minutes, contributing 15 goals in the process. The bulk of that came in Ligue 1, where he featured 29 times for 1,750 minutes, alongside a significant European involvement of 16 appearances and 989 minutes in the UEFA Champions League.

He also featured for Paris Saint-Germain in the FIFA Club World Cup, making five appearances, and had further outings in the UEFA Super Cup, Coupe de France, FIFA Intercontinental Cup and Trophée des Champions. On the international front, Barcola turned out four times for the France Under-21 side during UEFA Under-21 Championship qualification.

What it means for Liverpool

The volume of minutes Barcola racked up in 2025 suggests a player accustomed to featuring across a broad range of competitions, from domestic league football to continental and global club tournaments. For Liverpool, his arrival adds another attacking body as they navigate the early stages of the new campaign.
