Alejandro Garnacho joins Aston Villa on loan from Chelsea
Aston Villa have completed the loan signing of Alejandro Garnacho from Chelsea, with the deal confirmed on 22 July 2026. The attacker joins ahead of the new season as the transfer window continues to be busy across the Premier League.
Garnacho made 43 competitive appearances in 2025, totalling 2,196 minutes and eight goals across his commitments. The bulk of that workload came in the Premier League with Chelsea, where he featured 24 times for 1,283 minutes, while he also had spells in the FA Cup, the UEFA Champions League and the League Cup.
He also had a single appearance for Manchester United in the Premier League Summer Series, playing 22 minutes in that fixture.
The loan gives Aston Villa an additional attacking option as they prepare for the campaign ahead, with Garnacho arriving having featured across all four competitions he was involved in during 2025.
