AC Milan facing seven absentees for Serie A fixture
AC Milan will be without seven players for their Serie A fixture on 28 October, with the squad missing a mix of attacking and defensive options ahead of the match.
The absentees
Samuel Chukwueze is sidelined with a hip injury, while Alexis Saelemaekers and Mario Gila are both out with ankle injuries. Matteo Gabbia, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Diego Moreira are each dealing with thigh injuries, and Adrien Rabiot is unavailable with a calf injury.
The breadth of the list touches several areas of the squad, leaving fewer alternatives available to call upon for the fixture.
Looking ahead
With kick-off set for 28 October, attention turns to how the available squad members cope with the gaps left across the team. No further information on timelines or replacements has been provided.
